What type of Contract do you use?

We use the HIA 'Peace of Mind' fixed price Building Contract.


How long does the building process take?

Our typical contract time for a 200sm project home is 16 weeks.  Larger two storey homes are around 24 weeks dependant on the complexity.



Do we have to use BlackRhino Homes plans?

No, you can bring your own sketches/plans or we can design something specific for your needs. You may wish to use the professional services of our Architect associates.. either Freespace Design Architects or Mondo Architects.



Do you look after all the approvals?

We take care of all mandatory approvals and the costs of these are included in the Building Contract price.



What do we need up front?

You will need to have any bank finance approvals in place prior to signing a Building Contract.  The maximum deposit required will be 5% of the contract price.



Are there any hidden costs?

No, all calculable costs are included in your Building Contract price. For example, the engineers soil report is carried out prior to signing a Building Contract and therefore the associated costs with a specific foundation design are included in the Building Contract.
